By using ZipBap, you agree to these Terms of Service.

About ZipBap

ZipBap is a marketplace that connects home cooks ("sellers") with people who want homemade food ("buyers"). ZipBap provides listings, seller applications, pickup coordination tools, and order completion features.

Seller Approval

Sellers must be approved by ZipBap before selling. Submitting a seller application does not guarantee approval. ZipBap may approve, deny, or request additional information at its discretion.

Seller Eligibility & Review Materials

Sellers must provide accurate business and brand information. Sellers are responsible for obtaining any permits or licenses required by local law.

Sellers must provide accurate food, ingredient, allergy, and pickup information. ZipBap may request photos of packaging, food, kitchen environment, or other preparation materials for review.

ZipBap may approve, reject, suspend, or remove seller profiles that do not meet platform standards.

Seller Responsibilities

Sellers are responsible for food safety, preparation, labeling, and local compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Sellers must accurately describe their dishes, allergens, ingredients, and pickup or delivery options. Sellers are also responsible for fulfilling approved orders in a timely and safe manner.

Pickup & Delivery

ZipBap gives approved sellers flexible pickup options. Sellers may offer Seller Pickup from a selected pickup location or use a ZipBap Pickup Store when available.

Seller Pickup: Buyers pick up from the seller's selected pickup location. Sellers must provide accurate pickup instructions, pickup times, and safe handoff guidance.

ZipBap Pickup Store: Sellers deliver prepared orders to a designated ZipBap Pickup Store for safer and more convenient handoff. ZipBap Pickup Stores are offered where available — they are not required for every seller.

Buyers are responsible for collecting orders at the agreed pickup location or ZipBap Pickup Store at the agreed time.

QR Code Confirmation

Buyers may be required to scan a QR code to confirm pickup or delivery completion. QR confirmation helps verify that the buyer received the order and supports payout processing.

QR confirmation may be used for both Seller Pickup and ZipBap Pickup Store orders.

Payments & Payouts

ZipBap may process customer payments through the platform. When payment processing is enabled, buyers pay through ZipBap — not directly to sellers.

ZipBap deducts a 15% platform service fee from each completed order. Sellers receive 85% of the completed order amount as their payout.

Payment processing features may be activated in the ZipBap app or future platform updates. These terms will be updated when payment features launch.

QR Code Confirmation & Payouts

Buyers may scan QR codes to confirm pickup or delivery completion. QR code confirmation may be used to confirm order completion and support payout processing.

Buyer Acknowledgement

Buyers are responsible for reviewing food descriptions, allergen information, pickup details, and completing payment through ZipBap when payment processing is enabled.

Limitation of Liability

ZipBap provides the platform "as is" and is not liable for food quality, foodborne illness, payout delays arising from incomplete order confirmation, or missed pickups arising from transactions between buyers and sellers.
